Our Congregation

Midway Presbyterian Church is a warm worshiping community waiting to welcome you! Founded in 1846 on land deeded from the railroad, our historic building is a beautiful place. But our real treasure is in the vibrant spirit of Christ that binds the hearts of our congregation together. We are young and 'experienced', traditional and progressive, joyful and forgiven. We love gathering for worship and community service and potlucks. Stop by. We'll save you a seat at the Table!

Our Pastor

Pastor Mary Seeger is originally from the Midwest and attended St. Olaf College, where she did not sing in the choir or eat lutefisk. She was a Young Adult Volunteer in Belfast Northern Ireland for a year before attending Princeton Theological Seminary where she got her MDiv. She also earned an MTh from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland in Biblical Intertextual studies. Mary served as Associate pastor of Trinity Ave PC in Durham, NC before coming to Kentucky.
Mary likes history and archaeology, creation and environmental care, bluegrass music and trying to play the mandolin, doing cooking experiments with her fiance Zeb, and browsing the flea markets for treasures.
